This month is all about making your life easier; mobile apps and automatic pay can do just that. Some insurance companies have mobile apps so you can file a claim or pay your premium within the app. Even insurance companies without apps have easy ways to pay through EFT.

EFT, electronic funds transfer, is the transfer of money from one bank account to another; this includes electronic bill payment in online banking. Setting up a prescheduled payment for bills takes the hassle out of remembering to pay bills every month. You can set it and forget it. The money is taken out of your account and the bill is paid on time every month. You don’t have to worry about missing the payment date and incurring a late fee. EFT simplifies and streamlines the process.

A majority of companies, including insurance companies, are available on Prism Money. Prism Money is a bill management app that allows you to see and pay all your bills in one app. Prism sends a push notification when there is a new bill available, you can pay the bill then or schedule a payment. There is no third-party payment platform either so the payment goes through immediately. Your personal information is encrypted, and sensitive information is firewalled. All connections through the app is authenticated and secured through protocol.
